Military Activity Day Experiences

Military Day Experiences - After being kitted out in a camouflage suit and helmet and given a full safety briefing the military activities experience begins. During the course of the experience You will drive a 17 ton Abbott gun tank - an FV 432 armoured personnel carrier - an amphibious Hagglund tracked carrier and a Rapier rocket carrier round a tough terrain track. Get a ride in a Lance missile carrier. Go on an SAS woodland patrol and try clay-pigeon shooting. Learn how to load and fire mortars and muskets and watch weapons demonstrations. The best driver gets to crush a car with a 56 ton Chieftain tank at the end of the session. Keep your camo suit to take home. Lunch is included.
